Hearing a few beloved tracks from the series once again evokes a sense of nostalgia, and the characters quickly show that they are just as endearing as ever. The first twenty minutes are fairly promising, immediately opening with a tense fight for one of the Clow Cards. Things are not quite so simple, though, and as several foreboding dreams and supernatural phenomenons soon reveal, there is more to her winning the trip than a mere game of luck. After winning a five-day trip at a local store, Sakura is given the opportunity to travel to a different country for the first time in her life.

Set after the first season, Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie takes Sakura to an entirely new environment: Hong Kong. At times brilliant and more often monotonous, the first Cardcaptor Sakura movie is one that unfortunately falls short of these expectations.
When an acclaimed series receives a movie and other additional material, it's natural to hold high expectations and hope for an experience at least equal to the original. That's why Clow made this book and put me, the guardian beast, on the cover.A disappointing anime is often more upsetting than a bad one. They do as they please, and on top of that, ordinary people can't control them. Each one is alive and has its own special powers. They are special cards created by a magician named Clow Reed. The project has zero budget and that this is for fun. The visuals, plot, and character names will be the same as the original release, but the voices and sound effects will be recreated with an alternative soundtrack. The film shows Sakura Kinomoto and friends going to Hong Kong when they encounter a powerful spirit who was hurt by Clow Reed in the past.
It's been a while but I realized that in case something happens to the current voice cast, I would need some backup talent to fill in the gap until the main actor of the character returns.
